A ‘re’membering of sorts, getting back to your roots, feeling connected to all that is around you. Meet April, the founder and creative force behind Blooming-Curiosity, nestled in the serene East End of Long Island, NY, specifically on the enchanting North Fork. With a deep-rooted passion for traditional herbal wisdom, April is dedicated to fostering connections between people and plants, empowering individuals through the sharing of knowledge.

At Blooming-Curiosity, April curates a range of enriching experiences including classes, workshops, herbal product crafting, and personalized consultations. Her journey with herbalism began in childhood, with a profound affinity for the natural world. This lifelong pursuit culminated in a pivotal moment in 2012 when she embarked on her first herbal class, sparking a transformational journey into the healing powers of plant medicine.

In 2014, April further honed her expertise by studying under renowned herbalist Rosemary Gladstar at Sage Mountain in Vermont, delving into subjects like Herbal 101 and the Ecstasy of Teaching. Today, she proudly serves as a teacher herself, sharing her knowledge as a graduate of The Science and Art of Herbalism.

A dedicated learner and active participant in the herbal community, April regularly attends prestigious events such as the International Herb Symposium and the Northeast Women's Herbal Conference. She is also deeply engaged with organizations like United Plant Savers and the Northeast Herbal Association, continually expanding her understanding under the guidance of esteemed mentors including Matthew Wood, Caroline Gagnon, and Kate Gilday.
